Facili es include beach, trails, interpre ve displays and parking. Li le Squalicum Creek runs through this park. Squalicum Beach is owned and managed by the Port of Bellingham. Dogs must be on leash. Lorraine Ellis Park Lorraine Ellis Park is a neighborhood park located on Lorraine Ellis Court and W Illinois Street in the Columbia Neighborhood. The park includes an open play field and playground structure. Maritime Heritage Park This park is located near downtown Bellingham, close to shops and restaurants. The Park is adjacent to a fish hatchery and includes na ve plant interpre ve signage, artwork, fountain, and open playfields. The stage and amphitheater are reservable for events. Please check availability on our EZ Reg website, or contact the Parks & Recrea on Main Office. Memorial Park This neighborhood park is located at the corner of King and E. Maryland Streets behind Sunnyland Elementary School in the Sunnyland Neighborhood. The park features large open lawn area and a memorial monument. Northridge Park Northridge Park, established in 1991, has trails winding through a second growth Douglas Fir forest with wetland pockets. There are mul ple gravel connector trails to neighborhood streets and one main loop trail through Northridge Park. Three trail segments contain steps. Dogs must be on leash. Ridgemont Park This neighborhood park includes a playground with disc swing and climbing ac vi es. The park also includes a half basketball court, picnic table, bench and open lawn area. Rock Hill Park Rock Hill Park is a neighborhood park with a tot playground, half basketball court, and open field. Roosevelt Park This neighborhood park is immediately adjacent to the Bellingham Boys and Girls club facility. The park includes a loop trail, skate dot, half basketball court, picnic tables, tot playground, big kid playground, barbeque stands, restroom and onsite parking. Sehome Hill Arboretum Escape to the Sehome Hill Arboretum, a 175.5 acre oasis located on the south side of Bellingham. Wander along the trails through the na ve mature tree canopy to find the outdoor learning center on Huntoon Trail. Classes are o en taught here taking advantage of the natural habitat. Make sure to look up to see where the quarry once occupied the hill. Meander down the trail to find a geologic outcrop. Don't forget to visit the observa on tower, almost any of the trails in the Arboretum will lead you there. Climb to the top for sweeping views of the cityscape and Bellingham Bay. With 6 miles of trails you will be surrounded with the sounds of nature, have opportuni es learn, observe, relax or have an adventure.
