Yoga is a safe and gentle form of exercise which develops strength and flexibility, balance and coordina on. This class will focus on exercises that can be done from a standing, lying, or si ng posi on. Ac vi es will also include breathing and relaxa on techniques. If you are new to the class, please complete a Yoga Informa on Sheet at registra on and return to our office prior to the first class. Classes are taught by Louise Smith, a long me student of Iyengar Yoga and advocate of health through yoga. Register no later than one week prior to first class. DAYS/DATES: Tuesdays, July 23–August 13 DAYS/DATES: Wednesdays, July 24–August 14 AGES: 18 years and older TIME: 10–11:15 a.m. LOCATION: Mari me Heritage Park Pavilion COST: $38 COORDINATOR: Amanda Grove MIN: 10 MAX: 12 PADDEN TRIATHLON TRIATHLON CLINIC Prepare to compete in the Lake Whatcom or Padden triathlons with either of these clinics hosted by great local athletes. These are hands on, standalone clinics. We recommend you bring everything you'd bring on race day and par cipate to your comfort level. We'll cover racking bikes, transi ons, clothing, nutri on and the fine art of having fun while compe ng. The end of the clinic will feature and actual transi on prac ce from wet (or close as to wet as comfort permits) through all three legs and both transi ons. Note: The Padden Triathlon is sold out. The Lake Whatcom Triathlon is open for registra on.
