Kids 12-14 can get all of these (and more!) by learning to walk, bicycle and ride the bus for transporta on. The Smart Trips Adventure Camp will train kids to travel safely and independently in Bellingham. Whatcom Smart Trips Staff will use games, field trips and classroom ac vi es to teach map-reading, walking and bicycle safety, and bus route planning. All skills will then be put to the test during a super-fun Urban Transporta on Scavenger Hunt! Must a end all training sessions (Mon- Thurs) to compete in the Urban Transporta on Challenge on Friday. We'll cover how to plan a bus trip, fun places to go, how to put your bike on the bus, and more. Pack a lunch or bring money for lunch. Our schedule includes a lunch- me stop at Bellis Fair Mall. Champion COST: $10 COORDINATOR: Michelle Grandy, Lance Romo MIN: 4 MAX: 12 SUPER SITTER TRAINING This popular class is available for youth ages 13 and older and teaches basic babysi ng skills along with skills caring for children with disabili es. Par cipants will gain confidence in caring for children, par cularly for children with special needs, and they will also enjoy the learning environment of the camp as they meet new friends. This training also includes a day of infant/child CPR and First Aid cer fica on. We recommend par cipants have some prior babysi ng experience.
