Kids 12–14 can get all of these (and more!) by learning to walk, bicycle and ride the bus for transporta on. The Smart Trips Adventure Camp will train kids to travel safely and independently in Bellingham. Whatcom Smart Trips Staff will use games, field trips and classroom ac vi es to teach map reading, walking and bicycle safety, and bus route planning. All skills will then be put to the test during a super- fun Urban Transporta on Scavenger Hunt! Must a end all training sessions (Monday–Thursday) to compete in the Urban Transporta on Challenge on Friday. Bring a bike to ride on Monday and Wednesday (loaner bikes can be arranged with advance no ce). Co-sponsored by Smart Trips and Bellingham Parks and Recrea on. Learn basic babysi ng skills along with caring for children with disabili es. Par cipants will make new friends while gaining confidence in caring for children and children with special needs. This training includes a day of infant/child CPR and First Aid cer fica on. We recommend par cipants have some prior babysi ng experience. Registra on forms can be found online at www.p2pwhatcom.org.
