For more ques ons regarding specialized recrea on services, please contact Amanda Grove at 778-7000 or agrove@cob.org ADAPTIVE CYCLE EXPO Celebrate Na onal Bike Month and discover why cycling is for EVERYONE! The Outdoors for All Founda on will be bringing a small fleet of adap ve cycles that will allow people of all abili es to enjoy cycling. "Have a go" on these unique "bikes" which include handcycles for riders with limited or no leg movement; 3 and 4 wheel cycles for those who need more stability; and tandem cycles for those who want a guide while cycling. We will have cycles for kids and adults. The Outdoors for All staff are skilled at selec ng the right type of cycle to meet your needs. ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY ARE WELCOME! This event is co-sponsored by St. Joseph Hospital Center for Rehabilita on Medicine. Ages: All ages! Day/Date: Saturday, May 19 Time: 11:00 am–2:00 pm Loca on: Civic Field Track Cost: FREE! EVENTS SPIN DANCES Bellingham Parks and Recrea on, along with the Max Higbee Center and Whatcom County Parks and Recrea on have planned three dances for individuals with disabili es. All persons age 14 and over are invited for live music, dancing and loads of fun! Flyers are sent out each quarter announcing the band, theme, and loca on for the upcoming dances. Ages: 14 years and older Dates: Mondays, May 21 (80's Night), June 18 (Hoedown), August 20 (Hawaiian Luau) Time: 6:00 pm–8:00 pm Loca on: Bellingham Senior Center (315 Halleck St.) Cost: A bag of pre-packaged graham crackers
