FALL PLAYBOOK 2026 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION Adaptive 4 DAY/DATES: Mondays / September 21-December 7 TIME: 4:00–6:00 pm AGES: 12 years and older LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: Free / Liability waiver must be signed at door COORDINATOR: Jim Pettinger SPIN Dance Dance with us every third Monday of the month! Bellingham Parks & Recreation and the Max Higbee Center will host SPIN Dances for individuals with disabilities. Everyone 14 years and older is invited to dance with us to music provided by Glitt3r Lyfe's Aireekah! DAY/DATES: Mondays / September 21, October 19, November 16, December 21 TIME: 6:00–8:00 pm AGES: 14 years and older LOCATION: Bellingham Senior Center, 315 Halleck St. COST: Free COORDINATORS: Rosa Caldwell / Max Higbee Center GangBall GangBall is a fast-paced adaptive sport where players use specially designed wheelchairs to score by carrying a ball across the opponent's goal line. Combining elements of rugby, basketball, and handball, the sport emphasizes strategy and teamwork. Open to all abilities – all bodies welcome and wheelchairs are provided! The City conforms to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Individuals with disabilities or financial hardships who wish to participate in City programs, services or activities and need an accommodation should call us at: (360) 778–7000. Terrain conditions vary based on program locations. Refer to the icons, opposite. Conditions include snow and/or ice. Mostly flat, simple maneuverability. Some uneven surfaces, may need assistance. Uneven/steep terrain, not easily accessible. Includes water activity, uneven entry points. This program is eligible for a reduced fee waiver/scholarship.
