Family/Community SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2026 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 16 Let's Make Mozzarella and String Cheese! This is an all-ages, hands-on class where we will make mozzarella from scratch and leave knowing more about cheese making while making new friends. Light appetizers will be provided. DAY/DATES: Thursday / June 4 or 11 TIME: 6:00-7:30 pm AGES: All ages (under 18 accompanied by an adult) LOCATION: Cordata Park Pavilion COST: $45 per date COORDINATORS: Rosa Caldwell/Marisa Papetti MIN: 10 / MAX: 20 Photo by Lance Romo Photo by Bo Bestvina Ukulele Jams! Have you always wanted to learn to play the ukulele but don't know where to start? Want to learn classics like Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Song of Old Hawaii, or Let it Be? In this class, you will learn essential chords and strumming patterns to play the songs you love. No past ukulele experience is necessary! This class is being taught by Bo Bestvina, music teacher at Gifts of Music NW. DAY/DATES: Wednesdays Session 1: July 1, 8, 15, 22 Session 2: July 29, Aug. 5, 19, 26 (no class Aug. 12) TIME: 5:30-6:30 pm AGES: 10 years and older LOCATION: Fairhaven Park Pavilion COST: $120 per session COORDINATORS: Lance Romo/ Bo Bestvina MIN: 4 / MAX: 20 The City conforms to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
