Join us for a fun day as we explore historic downtown, stroll along the riverfront walkway, browse the shops and boutiques in search of must-have treasures, visit art galleries, and savor all the local flavors. Queen Elizabeth Park, Bloedel Conservatory and Van Dusen Botanical Garden Today we visit three of B.C.'s most treasured attractions. We will explore Queen Elizabeth Park before heading inside the conservatory. Next we venture over to Van Dusen where we'll enjoy a no-host lunch and explore the exquisite gardens, Elizabethan maze, wooded trails and paths, and so much more. The answer is yes! Today we'll learn about the gold rush and the role it played in Seattle's history. After our tour we will head over to Pike Place Market and enjoy a no-host lunch, explore the countless shops and stalls and best of all, people watch! DAY/DATE: Thursday / August 21 TIME: 9:00 am-5:00 pm AGES: 12 and older (under 18 with an adult) COST: $60 TRIPS Get Inspired ~ Get Connected ~ Get Active Historic Steveston Village Today we venture north to the lovely village of Steveston. We'll tour the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, one of the few remaining 19th century salmon canneries on the BC coast commemorating the history and contributions of the diverse communities and cultures of Canada's West Coast fishing industry. We'll also explore the scenic village and its many shops, cafes and waterfront walking paths. DAY/DATE: Wednesday / June 11 TIME: 9:00 am-4:00 pm AGES: 12 years and older (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) COST: $65 DAY/DATE: Saturday / July 12 TIME: 10:00 am–6:30 pm AGES: 12 and older (under 18 with an adult) COST: $85 Bard on the Beach Enjoy Shakespeare like never before with this amazing outdoor production nestled in beautiful Vanier Park. Today's performance, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, is set in the 80s and follows Valentine and Proteus who are sent to court to learn how to be "perfect gentlemen."
