FALL PLAYBOOK 2022 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION Family/Community Events 12 Rec–tivities: Family Activity Kits Enjoy creating artful crafts and activities for the whole family from the comfort of home! Sign up for a seasonally themed kit containing supplies, instructions, interactive ideas and lots of inspiration. Kits will be available for pick up beginning the first Friday of each month. Please note: Some simple household items may be required to complete all projects. Registration Deadline: Wednesday prior to pick up date. Themes are Spooky Halloween (October) & Thanksgiving! (November). Sensory–Friendly Boo at Bloedel Come out to for the first ever Sensory-Friendly Boo at Bloedel. This year families looking for a fun and inclusive Halloween event can experience Boo at Bloedel early to make crafts and win prizes playing carnival games. We have a limited supply of headphones at the door. This program is being co-coordinated with WWU student Rebecca Bailey. Boo at Bloedel This candy-free event is for children Preschool through 2nd grade! Wear your costumes, make crafts, and win prizes playing games at our booths. Many thanks to the Squalicum High School Rotary Club for their volunteers! Treasure on the Air Waves Use radios for this timed treasure hunt where the fastest competitors to find transmitters hidden in Cornwall Park win prizes! Competition hosted by Bellingham Parks and Recreation, the Bellingham Makerspace's Amateur Radio Group (BMARG), and Technology Alliance Group of Northwest Washington (TAGNW).
