Bellingham Parks and Recreation has been awarded funding for summer camp scholarships through the SEEK (Summer Experiences & Enrichment for Kids) grant program. This summer area youth will be able to apply to attend two weeks or more (depending on availability) of BellingCamp and Adventure Day Camp. These funds are provided by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction in collaboration with the Washington Recreation & Park Association and the Association of Washington Cities, and are intended to increase access to quality, outdoor summer programming for youth and communities who have historically been under-served or who have been most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the brand new SEEK scholarships, the City also offers a $200 per person annual scholarship program.
