Sound Therapy
Bring a blanket and yoga mat to Maritime Heritage
Park's pavilion on the third Friday of the month and enjoy
the soothing sound vibrations of Himalayan singing
bowls, gongs, bells, and other instruments for deep
relaxation. Sessions are hosted by either Everitt Allen of
Sound Therapy of the Pacific Northwest or Kristi Moseley
of Mystic Heart Vibrational Sound Meditation.
SkiDattle
Want to learn how to cross-country ski while meeting
new friends? Our ski instructor will lead a cross country
trek through Salmon Ridge SnoPark Trails featuring a
1.4-mile River Trail and Mom's Loop adventure. Complete
list of supplies and equipment needed will be available
online and at registration including places to rent cross
country skis locally and purchase a Sno-Park pass.
Signs of Winter Scavenger Hunt
Join us as we explore Maritime Heritage Park's
plants and wildlife by participating in our Signs
of Winter Scavenger Hunt. Learn about the
changing seasons by exploring our downtown
parks! From birds to fungi to trees, every observation
made will help us identify what's living in and around
your local parks. Upon check in teams will receive a
packet/worksheet and map and then head to various
nearby locations where they will answer questions and
take photos. Prizes given to the top two teams based
on correct responses. Dress appropriately, this
family-friendly event will go rain or shine!
