FALL PLAYBOOK 2020 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION Sports/Fitness 18 Civic Track Running and Walking Program Come walk or run at Civic Stadium this Fall. Perfect for all ages and abilities, enjoy the outdoors, stretch your legs and get your mileage in. The track will be open twice a day for registered pass holders and follow strict safety and health protocols. Specific lanes will be dedicated to runners and others to walkers. Please note: this program is designed for individuals and families. It is not intended for commercial use groups. No drop-ins allowed. Grandstands, turf areas and equipment are not available for use. Under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. DAYS/DATES: Monday-Friday, Sept. 14 thru Oct. 30 TIME: 8:00-10:00 am AND 5:00-7:00 pm AGES: All Ages LOCATION: Civic Stadium COST: $20 per person COORDINATOR: Mike Love MAX: 20 participants on the track per session 2 Legit To Hit Teen Sand Volleyball Time for some sand, sweat, sets and spikes. Grab a partner and play 2v2 volleyball on the Bloedel Donovan Sand Volleyball courts. Teams consist of 2 females or 1 male/1 female (all enrolled in 8th-12th grades). Teams will play a minimum of 3 round robin games (25 points) and then be seeded into single elimination brackets. Prizes awarded for best team name, costume and overall division winners. All equipment provided will be sanitized between games and strict safety and health protocols will be followed. DAY/DATE: Sat., Sept. 19 (Rainout: Sun., Sept. 20) TIME: TBA AGES: Grades 8-12 DIVISIONS: Girls OR Co-ed LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Sand Volleyball Courts COST: $50 per team FORMAT: 3-game Round Robin Pool Play, seeded Single Elimination Bracket COORDINATOR: Mike Love MIN: 4 teams per division / MAX: 8 teams per division
