Join us for a unique virtual tour and change your perspec ve by experiencing what someone living with demen a experiences daily. The Virtual Demen a Tour® (VDT®) series was developed by Second Wind Dreams® to help people caring for those with demen a. The VDT® offers hope to caregivers, providing ps and tools necessary to create an environment that supports the needs of those with the disease. This program is co-sponsored with Demen a Support Northwest, Right at Home and Silverado Memory Care Bellingham. DAY/DATES: Thursdays, March 26 & May 21 AGES: 13 and up TIME: 3:30–5:30 p.m. LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Mul -Purpose Room COST: Free COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell/JoannClemo HOW TO CAPTURE AWESOME IMAGES WITH YOUR DSLR – BEGINNER PHOTOGRAPHY Taking pictures with your new DSLR is easy, just set it on auto and shoot away. Capturing GOOD pictures with your new DSLR…that's harder! Quality photography starts with understanding how to set your exposure manually which is not difficult to do. Join esteemed NW photographer Andy Porter as he covers aperture and shu er speed and shows you how to change them on your camera. You'll learn how to use these se ngs to create the image you want including bracke ng the exposure. Lastly, he'll cover the use of polarizers and capturing images in the RAW format. Two classes to choose from. The rela onship and understanding the handler and dog develop through basic obedience training not only helps to create an excellent family companion but is also the founda on for all other dog sports. Dog/handler teams should be able to stand quietly with minimal barking and no lunging or aggressive behavior.
