Campers learn confidence, ini a ve, communica on and common sense through fun survival scenarios in teams and on their own. Skills taught include shelters, fire building, cordage, naviga on, knots, traps, primi ve skills and more. We won't get to everything, there's too much, but the week is packed! We play survival themed games and the week ends with an exci ng final scenario and a cer ficate of achievement. No prerequisites. Bring appropriate clothing, snacks and lunch. DAYS/DATES: Monday–Friday, August 10–14 AGES: 6–9 TIME: 9 a.m.–4 p.m. LOCATION: Cornwall Park, small shelter COST: $282 COORDINATOR: Daniel Coyle/Lance Romo MIN: 8 MAX: 14 ADVANCED WILDERNESS SURVIVAL No prerequisites needed. This camp goes in depth into cri cal survival skills using fun, challenging scenarios. Par cipants work on their own and in teams to problem solve various skills challenges such as shelter, fire, tool use, knife safety, traps, rope and knots, plant uses, animal tracking, primi ve skills, naviga on and more (we can't cover all of it in one week)! Instructors help par cipants build ini a ve, self control, confidence and communica on skills while making new friends.
