Join us on the first Sunday of each month for a morning of sensory- friendly cra s and games that families will enjoy together! Drop-in and check out our sensory gloves, noise reduc on headphones, and weighted blankets. We provide a Quiet Corner for reading and relaxing as well as different Sensory Sta ons at each session where children can explore movement, touch, smell, and more in a safe and understanding space! DAYS/DATES: Sundays, Jan 5, Feb 2, Mar 1, Apr 5, May 3 AGES: 18 months–8 years old, accompanied by an adult TIME: 10 a.m.–12 p.m. LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: Free COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell SPIN DANCES Bellingham Parks and Recrea on, along with the Max Higbee Center and Whatcom County Parks host dances for individuals with disabili es. All persons age 14 and over are invited for live music, dancing and loads of fun! Music by Evergreen Entertainment. February's theme is Valen ne's Day! DAYS/DATES: Mondays, January 20 (Masquerade Ball), February 17, March 16 (St. Paddy's) AGES: 14 and older TIME: 6–8 p.m. LOCATION: Bellingham Senior Center, 315 Halleck Street COST: A bag of pre-packaged graham crackers or a bo le of plain apple juice (with expira on date, please!) COORDINATOR: Alexis Govan MULTI-MEDIA ART For Adults 18 & Older with Developmental Disabili es Explore the use of a variety of materials, such as watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils and inks. Par cipants will have the opportunity to engage in ac vi es such as printmaking, crea ng a collage, designing note cards and pain ng. Crea ve enrichment, individual choices and enjoyment will be emphasized. Minimum must be met one week prior to first class. DAYS/DATES: Mondays, January 27–March 2 (no class February 17) AGES: 18 and older TIME: 4–6 p.m. LOCATION: Mari me Heritage Park Pavilion, 514 W.
