Bellingham Parks & Recrea on is working together with Make.Shi Art Space, a local, non-profit all ages venue and art gallery, to host Teens Raise the Mic. This will be a space for teens and young adults under 21 to explore their crea vity and support one another in a variety of genres including spoken word, comedy, and songwri ng. This event is free to the public on the 2nd Saturday of January, February, and March. All ages are welcome to support and a end, but performing is for those who are under 21 only. DATES: Saturdays, January 11, February 8, March 14 TIME: 5–8 p.m. LOCATION: Make.Shi Arts Space, 306 Flora St. COST: Free COORDINATOR: Alexis Govan NIGHT OUT: VALENTINE'S DAY Treat your kids to a night of cooking while you treat yourself to a night out! Annalee Dunn of the Tiny Onion Cooking School will lead your kiddos through cooking a meal while you enjoy an evening to yourself. The menu will include gluten free, dairy free, and nut free op ons. DAYS/DATES: Friday, February 14 AGES: 6–12 TIME: 5:30-8:30 p.m. LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building & Pavilion COST: $40 per child COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MIN: 10 MAX: 15 NIGHT OUT: INTERNATIONAL WOMXN'S DAY Let us take care of your kids whiel you celebrate Women's Day. Treat your kids to a night of cra s, games, and fun while you treat yourself to a night out!
