Experience an armchair journey with local traveler, Katie Storrs, as she presents a slide presentation titled "Paraguaype, jaha! A Peace Corps Service in the Heart of South America." November 16, 7pm, Whatcom Museum (Old City Hall). Free/$5 donation suggested. Katie is a recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Paraguay, where she served as an environmental conservation volunteer from 2014-2016 after she graduated from WWU. She would like to take people on a journey to the little known country of Paraguay through photos and storytelling. The success of her service was measured by laughter, learning, sharing, teaching, dirty hands, sweet smiles, and meaningful interactions with the Paraguayan people.
