"Nootka" by David Marshall (Canadian, 1927-2006) was sculpted in 1983 from marble from the Nootka Sound and donated to the City of Bellingham by David's wife, Carel Marshall. "Nootka" was installed in Cornwall Park today. Special thanks to Sculpture Northwest for organizing and funding assistance and to the Marshall estate, for the treasured donation.
